Arthur Lea sings jazz, rhythm n blues, eclectic classics, originals and popular songs with soul. A Royal Academy of Music pianist, 20 years gigging in London, Arthur has played everywhere from Ronnie Scott’s to the Olympic Stadium, working with everyone from Kae Tempest to Kylie Minogue. He performs solo, and in combos - Bootleg Trio, The Coalminers, Tongue Fu, to name a few. He has recorded in studios from Nashville to Berlin, and has produced many albums of original music. Often engaged with community arts organisations, Arthur is equally content providing musical direction for the United Nations and Corey Baker Dance. A lifetime Londoner, now in the San Francisco Bay Area, he listens and learns whether making music in concert halls, care homes, or cocktail speakeasies.
